Thanks so much Alice! More details will be sent closer to the time. We post in at the end of April, beginning of May. We send them to Comfort Cases in Maryland.

  1. Susan Neal-Smith says:

I planned to make several baby quilts for local hospitals. I would be happy to use up some of may pieces for your cause.

  2. Libby Ernst says:

I’m excited about making quilts for foster children. Our local quilt association also makes quilts to give to each foster child that get adopted.

  3. Alyssa says:

The Comfort Case website says that quilts for all age groups should be no larger than 30″ x 40″. Will they reject quilts that are 50″ x 50″?

    • Stacey says:

Hi Julie, the need to be completed because you send them directly to Comfort Cases who put them in bags with other items for children in foster care. πŸ€—

  4. Barbra Elizabeth says:

As one of your Quilty Friends said a year or so ago: “I’m in😍” I feel warm and fuzzy about Comfort Cases, working alongside so many of your Quilty Friends.

  5. Jeanne Mellott says:

Good morning and we’re al looking forward to Spring! When I try to read the information about Quilts for Foster Care, there is a picture of you and other information right on top of what I can’t read. Can you correct that so that we can see what to do and where to send our quilts. Thank You.

  6. TERI GUIRGUIS says:

Are older foster kid quilts acceptable, I feel sometimes the little kids get all the notice, but the teenagers get left out. I wanted to know if there is any need for quilts for teenagers. (more grown up themes, moons and stars, dragons, things like this) please let me know.

    • Stacey says:

Hi Teri, absolutely! You are right, I think especially the teen boys get forgotten. Comfort Cases makes cases for kids up to the age of 18 and we would love for you to make some quilts for them. Don’t forget to print out the PDF and take a pic of your quilts to enter the giveaway. Thanks so much! Stacey
