It is time to bring all your blocks together to finish your quilt with sashing, cornerstones, and borders. This is the fun part when we see it all come together with a finished quilt top. Yay – you did it!
For the sashing and borders, we will be doing cornerstones, cornerstones are the squares in between the blocks and sashing. Cornerstones add another level of interest to our quilt top and I can’t wait to show you how it’s done.
I think you are going to be pleasantly surprised at just how easy Cornerstones are.

The finished quilt will measure approximately 51″ x 65″
You may find the image of the quilt below helpful to see how we make sashing rows, block rows and then sew them together.

⅞ Yards for Sashing
¼ Yard for Cornerstones
1 Yard for Border
PLUS YOU WILL NEED:
3⅝ Yards for Backing
½ Yard for Binding
