I love these Vinyl Zipper Pouches! Not only are they perfect for holding everything from makeup to quilting tools, but the flat bottom makes them sit upright which I find super handy.

Vinyl comes in different thicknesses or gauges, the higher gauge the thicker the vinyl. I used gauge 16 for my Vinyl Zipper Pouches which is thick enough to hold their shape but not so thick that it is difficult to sew with.

TO MAKE A VINYL ZIPPER POUCH YOU WILL NEED:
10″ x 14″ piece of vinyl
14″ zipper
Approx finished size: Width at zipper 9½”, width at bottom 6½”, height 5½”, width of bottom 3″
DIFFERENT SIZES:
You can make your Vinyl Zipper Pouch any size you would like, just make sure the zipper is at least 3″ longer than the width of your vinyl.
Smaller size: 8″ x 11″ + 11″ zipper
Medium size: 10″ x 14″ + 14″ zipper (the size made in this tutorial)
Larger size: 12″ x 16″ + 16″ zipper
