It’s such a busy time of the year so I wanted this week’s tutorial to be super quick and easy to make, and also be a perfect last-minute Christmas gift idea. These Tea Towel Scarfs are super handy in the the kitchen, especially for days like Christmas Day when you are flat out! I usually throw a tea towel over my shoulder when I am super busy, but this is a much nicer way to have my tea towel on hand!
I used a tea towel and fabric that I already had on hand, making it super affordable to make, plus you can whip one of these up in 10 minutes flat!

TO MAKE A TEA TOWEL SCARF YOU WILL NEED:
- A teatowel, or handtowel, or two face cloths
- Fabric – approximately 12″ width of fabric
- Coordinating thread
CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS:
Measure the width of your folded tea towel, then times the width by 2 and add ½” for your seam allowances.
For example, my folded teatowel measured 5″ (5″ x 2 = 10″ + ½” = 10½”)
Cut one piece of fabric to the width that you worked out above by 34¾”
