I am super excited about making a Christmas Tree Skirt to match my aesthetic of muted colors and metallics, I love mixing gold, rose gold and silver together on my tree. My son always complains that it is boring, so I bought a slim tree for the entranceway and I have reds and pinks on that tree which is a little more fun. What are your Christmas colors?

I recommend using 100% quilting cotton for this project.

TO MAKE A CHRISTMAS TREE SKIRT YOU WILL NEED:
- 4 x ⅔ yard of width of fabric
- 55″ width of fabric of wide width fabric at least 55″
- Batting 55″ x 55″
- ½ yard of braided cord to make loop for buttons (optional)
- 3 x buttons – I am using Cover Buttons Size 1⅛” (optional)
- Co-ordinating Thread
- Paper to make template (I used freezer paper)
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Regular Scissors
- Pins
- Sewing machine
- Iron & Ironing Board/Mat
Please note the buttons are optional as they are more decorative than functional, the Christmas Tree Skirt will work just fine without them.
