Quilted wall hanging

Coming into Fall there’s no better time to get started on your Christmas sewing. In this tutorial I will show you how to make a super cute Quilted Wall Hanging, the best thing about this design is that it really could be used for any theme you like, fall, Christmas, Thanksgiving, or even just your favorite fabric!

I recommend using 100% quilting cotton for this project. I used the fun and festive Cozy & Magical fabric by Maureen Cracknell of Art Gallery Fabrics, purchased from my local quilting store Pennington Quilt Works. For the squares, I used a metallic quilting cotton from Joann.

My printable heart template can be found here. I used the middle-sized heart. You could appliqué any shape you would like that fits inside the square, just remember to allow room for seams.
