Halloween Bucket List

Stacey Lee Halloween Bucket List

Hi guys, Halloween is just under a week away and I don’t know who is more excited the kids, or me? Who am I trying to kid, it’s me!  I’ve booed the neighbors and been booed back, if you don’t know what I am talking about you can read all about “You’ve been booed” here. I am finally happy with my entrance Halloween display and we are all set to go outside with our spooky decorations.

Just for fun, I decided to write a Halloween Bucket List to frame. It looks super cute amongst my Halloween display, and if you’d like a copy you can get it here. I left off a few things that have been canceled due to Covid like visiting a trunk or treat.

Growing up in New Zealand Halloween was just something I saw in movies, and there was no trick or treating. It has slowly become more popular in New Zealand and Australia and over the years more and more people are getting into trick or treating, when I say that, the kids get dressed up and neighbors have candy for them, that’s about the extent of it. It’s still nothing like Halloween in the USA. I love how most people decorate the outside of their homes and get into the spirit of Halloween.

Here’s my Halloween Bucket List:

  • Watch Hocus Pocus
  • Decorate for Halloween
  • Carve a pumpkin
  • Boo a neighbor or friend
  • Buy Halloween candy
  • Eat candy corn
  • Dance to Monster Mash
  • Dress up in costumes

Happy Halloween guys!

Thanks,

Stacey
